A wall clock that reads as art on the wall first
Our resin wall clocks are cast by hand at our Bareilly studio. Each one is a 12 inch resin dial — marble, cracked-marble, ocean or crystal-geode finishes, with gold detailing and acrylic numerals — running on a silent sweep movement and a single AA battery. They live in living rooms, bedrooms, study rooms, and entrance walls across India. They read as art first and as a clock second.
The choice is in the finish and the dial. Marble and cracked-marble effects in gold, black or beige. Ocean pours with depth and movement. Crystal geode inclusions. Smoke-art swirls in black and white. Then the numerals — raised acrylic Roman for a classical wall, or acrylic Urdu, which is the one most Muslim households choose and reads beautifully against marble. Hands come in Maharaja, Valex, Minar and plain styles depending on the design. Because each dial is poured by hand, no two come out identical.
Every design on this page is finished and in stock, so it dispatches in 1 to 2 business days and reaches most Indian addresses in 4 to 7 business days after that. Shipping is free pan-India and every clock is gift-wrapped in our signature packaging. New to handcrafted resin clocks? Read our resin wall clock buying guide. Size — how a 12 inch dial sits on your wall
Every clock in this range is a 12 x 12 inch (about 30 cm) round dial. It is the size that works on the widest variety of Indian walls, which is why we settled on it as our standard. Larger and smaller dials are possible as a custom order — more on that below.
Most people underestimate how much wall a clock needs. A rough rule: leave clear wall on all sides equal to about a third of the clock's diameter, and hang the centre at eye level when you're standing.
Where a 12 inch clock works
It holds a living-room wall above a sofa or a console table without dominating it, and there is enough dial area for Roman or Urdu numerals to stay legible from across the room. It also works above a dining table, on a bedroom wall, or on an entrance wall where the clock is the first thing anyone sees. On a very wide wall — more than about seven feet of clear span — a single 12 inch dial can read small, so either centre it above furniture or pair it with wall art rather than hanging it alone.
Other sizes, made to order
Need something smaller for a study, or larger for a stair wall, double-height living room, or a shop or clinic reception? Those are custom orders rather than stock pieces, so WhatsApp us the wall dimensions before you order and we will tell you honestly what will sit right and what it costs — sometimes the answer is the standard 12 inch, hung higher.
How the clock hangs
There is a moulded hanger cast into the back, so the clock sits flat against the wall with no visible bracket — one screw or a single wall hook is all it needs. On plaster or drywall use a wall plug; on brick a standard 6 mm plug is fine. Hang it so the centre sits at eye level when you are standing, and if you are mounting above furniture, centre it on the furniture rather than on the wall.
Resin has real weight to it, more than a plastic clock of the same size. If you are using an adhesive hook rather than a screw, check what it is rated for before you trust it with the clock.
What goes into the resin
The body and the pour
A durable resin body cast in premium crystal-clear resin, then finished by hand. The pattern is pigment and technique rather than print — which is why the surface has depth you can see from an angle, and why no two dials are identical. The finish is glossy as standard.
The finishes
Marble and cracked marble in gold, black or beige — the safest choice for a room you have not seen, and the one most people gift. Ocean pours, where the resin is worked while curing to leave waves and foam with real depth. Crystal geode, with mineral-look inclusions set into the rim. And smoke art, a black-and-white swirl for a modern or monochrome wall.
Numerals, hands and movement
Numerals are raised acrylic, not printed, in Roman or Urdu depending on the design. Hands come in Maharaja, Valex, Minar and plain styles. Every clock runs a silent sweep movement — the second hand glides instead of stepping, so there is no tick-tick noise. One AA battery, and the movement is replaceable if it ever fails.
Resin, wood, metal or acrylic — what you're choosing between
Most wall clocks in this price range are one of four things, and they behave differently on a wall.
Wood reads warm and traditional, and it suits a room that already has wooden furniture in it. It is the safest choice and the least distinctive — a wooden clock rarely draws comment. In Indian humidity, cheaper engineered wood can swell at the joints over a few monsoons.
Metal is the go-to for a minimal or industrial room. It is durable and light, and it photographs well. But metal clocks tend to look mass-produced, because most of them are — the finish is applied rather than made, so two clocks of the same model are identical.
Acrylic is the cheapest to produce, which is why so much of the market is acrylic pretending to be something else. It is light and it will not chip, but it has no depth to it: hold an acrylic clock at an angle and the pattern sits flat on the surface.
Resin is the one with depth. The pattern is poured and worked while the resin cures, so it sits inside the piece rather than on top of it — which is why a marble or ocean finish still reads as marble or ocean when you look at it from the side. It is also the only one of the four where no two pieces come out identical, because the resin moves as it sets. The trade-off is honest: resin is heavier than acrylic or metal, and any resin piece is happier out of harsh all-day sunlight.
If you want a clock nobody else on your street has, that is the argument for resin. If you want the cheapest thing that tells the time, it is not.
Which finish suits which room
Living room. Gold marble or Maharaja-style hands. These are the designs that read as intentional above a sofa or a console table, and gold picks up warm lighting in the evening. Centre the clock on the furniture below it, not on the wall.
Bedroom and study. Anything, because every clock here is silent sweep — no ticking to keep you awake or break your concentration. Black marble and smoke art sit quietly; ocean finishes are the more restful choice opposite a bed.
Entrance and hallway. A 12 inch dial is about right for the wall you see on the way in, where it gets read at a glance rather than studied. Urdu-numeral dials sit well against a marble finish here, and the gold-toned designs pick up whatever light comes through the door.
Office and reception. Black and gold cracked marble, or the stone-border design. They photograph well behind a desk and are neutral enough for a shared space. Avoid direct all-day sunlight on any resin piece regardless of finish.
What a resin wall clock costs
This range runs from ₹1,199 to ₹1,406, all at 12 inch. GST is included in the listed price and shipping is free across India, so the price you see is the price you pay.
What moves the price within that band is the work in the dial, not the size. A single-pour marble finish sits at the lower end. Multi-stage pours — cracked marble, ocean depth, crystal geode inclusions, a textured stone border — take longer and carry more risk of a failed cast, so they sit higher. Maharaja and Valex hand sets cost more than plain. Custom commissions are quoted individually.
Frequently asked questions
What size are your resin wall clocks?
Every clock in this range is a 12 x 12 inch (about 30 cm) round dial — the size that suits the widest variety of walls, which is why we standardised on it. Other sizes are possible as a custom order rather than stock, so WhatsApp us your wall dimensions first and we will advise honestly.
Roman or Urdu numerals — which should I choose?
Roman numerals lean classical and pair well with traditional or vintage interiors. Urdu numeral dials are cleaner and read beautifully against a marble finish, and they are the ones people usually pick when the clock is going on an entrance wall. Both are raised acrylic, not printed, so they catch the light rather than sitting flat.
Can I get a clock personalised with a family name?
Not on the designs listed here — those are finished pieces, ready to ship as shown. A personalised dial with a family name, a date or a short dua is a custom commission instead: start a custom order or WhatsApp us, and we will quote it and share a mockup before any resin is poured.
What creates the pattern in the resin?
Pigment and technique, poured by hand — marble and cracked-marble effects, ocean waves, crystal geode inclusions, and smoke-art swirls. No two dials come out identical because the resin moves as it cures. If you want real preserved flowers set into a piece, that is our jewellery and preservation range rather than these clocks.
Does the clock actually keep time, or is it decor only?
It keeps time. Every clock uses a silent sweep movement — the hands glide rather than step, so there is no tick-tick noise, which is why these work in bedrooms and study rooms. One AA battery runs it, and the movement is replaceable if it ever fails.
Will the resin yellow over time?
We use UV-stabilised epoxy resin specifically because cheaper resin yellows in sunlight. It holds its colour far longer, though we would still avoid hanging any resin piece in harsh direct sun all day. Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth — never spray cleaner onto the resin.
How soon will my wall clock arrive?
The designs listed here are finished and in stock, so they dispatch in 1 to 2 business days and reach most Indian addresses in 4 to 7 business days after that. A custom commission is different — allow 7 to 10 business days for crafting before it ships, and we will confirm the timeline in writing before you pay.
What occasions are these wall clocks gifted for?
Housewarming and griha pravesh gifts are the most common — a clock is one of the few decor gifts that gets used daily. After that, wedding gifts, Diwali gifts, anniversary gifts, and corporate gifting for senior teams. The marble and gold finishes are the safest choice when you do not know the recipient's decor.
Is this epoxy resin, or something else?
It is UV-stabilised epoxy resin over a durable resin body, cast and finished by hand. It is the same material family you will see called resin art or an epoxy wall clock — ours is stabilised against sunlight so the marble and gold tones hold up rather than yellowing.
How do I clean a resin wall clock?
A dry microfibre cloth is enough for dust. For marks, use a barely damp cloth and dry it straight after. Never spray glass cleaner, alcohol or any solvent onto the resin — it can dull the gloss permanently. Lift the clock off the wall to clean it rather than wiping around the hands.
