Varmala Preservation in Resin
Your wedding garland, preserved in handcrafted resin and ready to hang.
One of the few keepsakes that means as much in 30 years as it does today
Varmala preservation is the craft of taking the actual garlands you and your partner exchanged on your wedding day, drying the petals carefully, arranging them inside a wall frame, and sealing them in crystal-clear UV resin. The finished piece looks like floral art on the wall, but every petal in it is real, every leaf is the one you remember, and every colour stays exactly the way it was the moment you said yes.
We craft varmala preservation frames at our Bareilly studio for couples across India. The technique is simple to describe and difficult to master — petals must dry slowly to keep their colour, arrangement matters as much as preservation, and resin has to be poured in thin layers over several days to stay bubble-free. We have made hundreds of these frames and we know what works. Send us photos of your garlands on WhatsApp and we will design a layout with you before any flower is touched.
Frames are available in three standard sizes — Compact (8×8 inch), Standard (12×12 inch), and Premium (16×16 inch) — with a single or double-garland layout. Add a custom name plate, the wedding date in gold foil, or a short verse along the inner edge. The finished piece is gift-wrapped and shipped pan-India.

Frequently asked questions
How does varmala preservation in resin work?
We dry your wedding garlands carefully over 7 to 14 days, arrange the petals and selected flowers inside a resin frame designed around your colour palette, then pour clear UV-stabilised resin in layers so every bloom is sealed exactly as it was on the day. The finished piece is wall-ready and lasts a lifetime.
How soon after the wedding should I send my varmala?
Within 5 to 7 days is ideal. Fresh garlands dry the cleanest. If your wedding is past that window, WhatsApp us photos before sending — we will tell you honestly whether the flowers will preserve well.
How long does the full process take?
Allow 3 to 4 weeks from the day we receive your varmala. Drying alone takes 1 to 2 weeks, then layered resin pours over several days, then curing and finishing. We send WhatsApp updates at every stage so you are never guessing.
What sizes are available?
Three standard sizes — Compact (8×8 inch), Standard (12×12 inch), and Premium (16×16 inch). Custom dimensions are also available for couples who want a specific wall fit. We help you pick by counting how many flowers your garland has.
Can both varmalas be preserved together?
Yes. The most popular option is a side-by-side double frame that holds both the bride and groom's garlands as a matched pair. We can also do them in two separate frames designed to hang together.
Do you preserve garlands from a Muslim nikah or Sikh wedding?
Yes. The technique is the same regardless of tradition. Couples often pair a varmala frame with a Nikah Nama frame (for nikah ceremonies) or a Karah Prasad keepsake (for Sikh weddings) — we are happy to design coordinated sets.
How do I send my varmala to you?
Pack the garland in a cardboard box with newspaper padding and ship via Bluedart, DTDC, or India Post Speed Post to our Bareilly studio. The address is shared on WhatsApp once your order is confirmed. We cover return shipping of the finished piece.
What does varmala preservation cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the frame and the complexity of the design. Compact frames start at ₹3,499 and premium double frames go up to ₹8,999. Browse the products on this page for live pricing, or start a custom order for bespoke sizing.
Don't see the size or layout you want?
Most varmala preservation orders are bespoke — we design around your garland, your wall, and your colour palette. Start a custom order and we will send a mockup on WhatsApp before any flower is touched.
